ABOUT LEAH

Leah Jereb is a comedy writer, performer, voice actor, and copywriter originally from Cleveland, Ohio.

Additionally, Leah has a background in improv, sketch, musical comedy, and late-night TV writing through her training with The Second City and Washington Improv Theater. She has written an original pilot called “SmileyLand,” among other things, including a spec script that crosses over the hit shows Killing Eve and Emily in Paris.

Her comedy writing has been published by McSweeney's Internet Tendency, The Belladonna Comedy, Points in Case, and Slackjaw Comedy and has received recognition in humor writing competitions.

Comedians and artists whose work has greatly influenced her include Jack Lemmon, Billy Wilder, Will Ferrell, Mike Myers, Ana Gasteyer, Maya Rudolph, Jack Black, lyricists Laurence O'Keefe and Nell Benjamin, Tina Fey, Kristen Wiig, Ryan Reynolds, Seth Meyers, and pretty much everyone in the movie Best in Show, which was the first PG-13 movie Leah’s parents took her to see in a theater.

  • As a copywriter and strategist, Leah has worked with brands including National Geographic, Booz Allen Hamilton (a big ol' government contractor and consulting firm), and a variety of independent, female-owned companies focused on food, wellness, and community. Leah is a multi-faceted, conceptual writer and strategist who can shift between tones and project types with ease, and throughout her career, she’s worked directly with executives of major organizations, high-profile journalists, and public figures.

Leah is passionate about the performing arts, connecting communities around food and well-being, the environment, sustainable fashion, tech that improves the human experience, architecture, interior design, and elevated hospitality experiences.
