User-Generated Content Campaign
At National Geographic, Leah created and project managed a Webby Award-honored campaign called #WilderNextGen—a play on “wilderness generation” and the “next generation” of national parks visitors—to promote a magazine cover story.
The announcement.
We used National Geographic’s news platform to announce the campaign.
The outcome.
During the campaign, we tapped Nat Geo photographer Corey Arnold to curate his favorite entries on a branded Instagram account. The hashtag has over 18k uses to date on Instagram alone.
The honor.
The Webby Awards named #WilderNextGen as a Social/Education & Discovery honoree in 2017. It made Leah blush!
