Leah served as a DC city lead for Pineapple Collaborative, a brand on a mission to connect and celebrate people who love food. Leah planned several events featuring interviews, hands-on demos, and engaging breakout discussions with well-known chefs, wellness practitioners and fine goods purveyors, authors, sommeliers, and more. As part of her planning work, Leah also wrote event copy, developed panel questions, pitched interactive demos, coordinated with food and beverage partners, and promoted the events locally.

Hot Off the Press, featuring journalists from Bon Appetit, Washington Post Food, Edible, Eater, and more.
Grape Expectations, featuring a panel discussion of sommeliers on natural wine, wine and agriculture, and a live tasting.
The Palestinian Kitchen, featuring a discussion on Palestine and Palestinian cuisine with chef and cookbook author Yasmin Khan
The Food Seen, featuring a conversation on why representation in the food industry matters for social and economic equity, with activists Julia Turshen, Asha Carter, Nana Ama Afari-Dwamena, and Melissa Jones.
Feeding the Soul, featuring Carla Hall & a conversation on soul food
