Hi, I’m Leah Jereb.

I’m an experienced copywriter and communications strategist with a passion for creative campaigns and helping brands connect the dots.

For nearly four years, I worked with the global communications team National Geographic as a publicist for the magazine and its storytellers. I later transitioned into full-time copywriting for B2B and B2C clients. Alongside my writing work, my passion for the food industry led me to my role as a city lead with Pineapple Collaborative, a community of women who love food.

Copywriting + Content Strategy

 

I’m a highly conceptual copywriter who loves working on big-idea campaigns. But I’ve also written countless case studies and long-form content for brands. My portfolio includes conceptual ad copy as well as long-form content.

At a consulting firm in DC, I created campaigns and a variety of deliverables (from long-form editorial to email call-to-actions) that distilled complex technical projects into compelling narratives. I also led content strategy for multiple projects by collaborating with art directors and integrated marketing partners, from SEO to media relations. In my work at Pineapple Collaborative, I wrote copy for the events I planned for a community of foodies. While in Copenhagen, Denmark, I created a series of ads for a co-working space for tech startups.

Strategic Communications

 

As a communications specialist at National Geographic, Leah created strategic campaigns for the magazine, books, news, internal communications, and more. Her work included project managing cross-platform campaigns, writing and designing promotional materials, maintaining partnerships, and earning hundreds of national and international media placements. One of her brain children received Webby Award recognition, in addition to awards for some other campaigns she worked on.

She also served in a talent management capacity and collaborated closely with prominent public figures, celebrities, authors, and journalists.
